摘    要:目的分析某医院环氧乙烷中毒事故的发生原因。方法依据作业现场职业病危害因素的监测方法、作业场所职业接触限值,对事故现场进行监测,结合职业卫生学调查,分析中毒事故发生的原因。结果事故发生后第7天监测的最高点环氧乙烷浓度超标40倍;第8天最高点超标约0.5倍;第12天均未检出。结论这是一起由于消毒柜使用的环氧乙烷气体泄漏导致医务人员环氧乙烷中毒的事故。环氧乙烷消毒间存在环氧乙烷的危害,在手术室可行性论证阶段应进行职业病危害评价;在进行初步设计时,其设置区域应与相对密闭的手术室隔离。用人单位应加强管理,以杜绝类似事故的发生。

Field Investigation on Accident of Ethylene Oxide Poisoning in the Hospital

Abstract:Objective To study the accident causes of ethylene oxide poisoning in the hospital. Methods Based on the monitoring methods of occupational risk factors and occupational exposure limits for hazardous agents in the workplace,the scene of the accident was monitored and combined with occupational hygiene investigation to analyze the causes of the poisoning incident. Results On the 7th day after the accident happened,the monitored highest concentration of ethylene oxide was 40 times of occupational exposure limits,the monitored highest concentration was about 0.5 times on the 8th day,and on the 12th day the concentration of ethylene oxide was not detected .Conclusion The incident is caused by ethylene oxide gas leakage in disinfector and meads to the medical staff poisoned. Ethylene oxide hazards exist in the ethylene oxide sterilization room,which should be evaluated occupational hazards. On the preliminary design stage,ethylene oxide sterilization room should be separated from a relatively confined region of the operating room. The management of units should be strengthened to prevent similar accidents.
