Abstract:Objective The osteoblast of rabbit embryo and gelation sponge complex was transplanted to the site of bone defeat of allogeneic rabbit in order to promote bone union and lay a foundation for repair of bone defect and promotion of bone union in clinical practice.?Methods The cranial bone of the rabbit embryo was cultured with fissure mess method, then the acquired osteoblasts which had propagated in vitro and undergone frozen storage and resuscitation and gelation sponge were made into a complex. The complex was then transplanted into the tibia bone defect of allogeneic rabbit as the experiment side. Gelation sponge absorbing physiological saline was used in the controlatoral side as the control side. Micropathology and histology examination were done at the first,third,fifth,seventh, ninth, eleventh and fiftieth weeks,X ray examination was done at the first,fourth,seventh and ninth weeks after transplantation respectively. Healing states and immunological rejection reaction were compared between two sides.?Results (1)?The transplantation of the complex of osteoblast and gelation sponge causes no obvious immunological rejection reaction.?(2)?The healing time of bone defect in the experiment side is obviously earlier than the control side (about two weeks).?Conclusion Embryonic osteoblast can repair the bone defect and promote bone union, and no obvious immunological rejection reaction can be seen.
