Multivariate analysis of drug-effects on electrophysiological signals in man

A multidimensional analysis method (Principal Component Analysis) is applied to the study of drug-effects upon electrophysiological signals (EEG, EKG…). It is shown how the developed method can provide a mapping of the data allowing formulation of hypotheses on their structure and elaboration of a statistical processing strategy. In particular, this method can permit detection and correction of parasite-effects which could distort or conceal the drug-effect itself.
