To explore the sphenoid sinus disease and transsphenoidal endoscopic surgery

Objective To explore the clinical characteristics of the sphenoid sinus disease and the development status of transsphenoidal endoscopic surgery.We will elaborate the important value of endoscopic as a minimally invasive surgery,from anatomy related to sphenoid sinus,ideas of sphenoid sinus disease and endoscopic sinus surgery in the sphenoid sinus and transsphenoidal skull base surgery,these three aspects.Conclusions There is an excellent clinical results for endoscopic surgery used in the treatment of sphenoid sinus disease;Transsphenoidal endoscopic surgery make the nose and skull base surgery into a new stage of development.
