| Abstract: | In order to study the factors and characteristics of drug abuse amongfemale drug abusers in Shanghai city, we interviewed with the parents, spouses, friends and relatives of 109 cases of female drug abusers by the retrospective survey. The results showed that most of female drug abusers were unemployed young women. The main reason of initial drug abuse was influenzed by their spouses and boy friends, and majority of female drug abusers had the behaviour of sexual confusion. The individual and social consequences of female drug abuse was severe. |
