单纯以食盐加碘防治碘缺乏病效果分析

目的 研究单纯以食盐加碘能否如期达到碘缺乏病消除目标。方法 按地理位置选５个乡镇的５所小学为观察点，对碘盐、８～１０岁学生的尿碘和甲状腺肿大情况进行检测。尿碘用恒温酸消化法，甲肿情况用触诊法及Ｂ超法。结果 碘盐、尿碘及甲肿率连续２年均达到国家碘缺乏病消除标准要求。结论 单纯以食盐加碘能如期达到碘缺乏病消除目标。

Analysis of effect on control iodine deficiency disorders only by salt iodization

Objective In order to evaluate whether iodine deficiency disorders(IDD) can been eliminated by salt iodization only,the investigation was conduceted between 1996 and 1998.Methods The measure of iodized salt,urine iodine and total goiter rate in puples aged 8~10 years was conducted in 5 primary scholls selected according to their location.The urine iodine level was determined by acidize,the goiter rate was measured by palpation and ultrasonography.Results All the indicators of iodized salt,urinary iodine and total goiter rate are reached national criteria for elimination of IDD.Conclusions The goal of eliminating IDD by the year 2000 can be reached through salt iodization only.
