| 摘 要： | In the spring of 2003, the medical community within China experienced grim challenges when they were confronted with an unexpected disease now referred to as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). During the fight of the bloody war against SARS, Chinese healthcare workers risked of their own lives and dealt with numerous clinical treatments. However, they never forgot their mission to invigorate our nation through science and technology. They actively conducted scientific research on SARS and received preliminary achievements in a very short time, these achievements have become useful tools in the prevention and treatment against SARS.
