Abstract: | Species identification of genus Malassezia is important in epidemiological and etiological studies, however, is difficult by the conventional system. A specific and rapid identification system based on sequences of internal transcribed spacer 1 of ribosomal DNA has therefore been developed. Using this system, we could identify two or more species mixed in the clinical samples. |
