SARS病毒对乳鼠和鸡胚致病性的初步观察

摘    要:目的 建立SARS病毒的动物模型。方法 选用 1~ 5日龄的BALB c乳鼠和昆明种乳鼠 ,通过脑内、腹腔和鼻腔 3种途径 ,分别接种自广州和北京地区非典型肺炎病人中分离的SARS病毒BJ0 1和GZ0 1株 ,观察该病毒对不同种系小鼠的致病性。同时 ,选用 8~ 10日龄鸡胚经尿囊腔接种这 2株病毒 ,观察对鸡胚的致病性。结果与结论 采用SARS病毒BJ0 1和GZ0 1株经脑内接种 ,均可使BALB c乳鼠和昆明种乳鼠发病或死亡 ,但这种致病性不规律 ;而从腹腔和鼻腔途径接种病毒均不能使乳鼠发病。鸡胚对该病毒不敏感。

Abstract:Objective To develop an animal model for SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV) infection. Methods One to five days old BALB/c and KM mice were inoculated by SARS-CoV isolated from SARS patients of Guangzhou and Beijing through intracranial, intraperitoneal and intranasal routes. Virus strains were also inoculated into allantois of 8-10 d old embryonated eggs. Then the pathogenicity of SARS-CoV in the inoculated animals was observed. Results and conclusion Irregular pathogenicity of SARS-CoV BJ01 and GZ01 strains to BALB/c and KM mice were observed when inoculated intracranially, while the suckling mice could not be infected by intraperitoneal and intranasal inoculation. The embryonated eggs were not sensitive to isolated SARS-CoV.
