| Abstract: | AL amyloidosis is the most common form of systemic amyloidosis and is associated with an underlying plasma cell dyscrasia. This review outlines an overview of high-dose intravenous melphalan and stem cell transplantation in the treatment of AL amyloidosis. An algorithm of our recommendations for the treatment of AL amyloidosis is also outlined. |
