Abstract: | This paper reviews the development of clinical testing procedures for anomalous correspondence, and analyses the results from ten clinical tests in twenty-two non-amblyopic squinters. It is concluded that multiple test results assist the more certain diagnosis of the anomaly and that between test variability may be explained on the basis of horopteral asymmetries, prism induced instability, changes in fixation distance or method of testing, and reliability errors. |
