| Abstract: | The following article illustrates the use of the itk::ConnectedThreshold ImageFilter,one of the region growing algorithms in the segmentation algorithms of medical images in the Insight Toolkit.Applying the region growing algorithm on one MR image,BrainProtonDensitySlice.png,we can easily segment the major anatomical structures such as white matter,ventricle,gray matter,and etc.This article also introduces the use of the classes in the region growing algorithm's implementation. |
