| Abstract: | Cultured rat thymocytes were treated with glucocorticoid and after incubation the cells were observed with light and electron microscopy. The cells showed a series of morphological changes :shrinkege in volume condensation and fragmentation of chromatin and shedding of apop-totic bodies,indicating the formation of apoptosis. |
