Abstract:Objective To explore the value of high-frequency ultrasound in the judgment of synovial lesion degree with small rheumatoid arthritis of hand. Methods 36 cases of patients with rheumatoid arthritis were selected as observation group,38 healthy volunteers were selected as control group.Metaearpophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal joint of patient hand with high-frequency ultrasound were observed, each finger joint synovial thickness was compared respec- tively. Results 25 cases showed synovial thickness in observation group, accounted for 69.4%,5 patients showed articular cavity effusion,3 patients showed bone destruction,2 patients showed joint fusion. In addition to first metacarpopha- langeal, second finger, fourth metacarpophalangeal and fifth finger of left hand, finger joint synovial thickness in two groups was compared respectively, with statistical difference (P〈0.05).Conclusion High-frequency ultrasound has high application value in the judgment of synovial lesion degree with small rheumatoid arthritis of hand.
Keywords:High-frequency ultrasound  Rheumatoid arthrltis  Joint synovitis
