ICAM-1蛋白和mRNA在慢性乙型肝炎肝组织中的表达

目的：探讨肝组织细胞间粘附分子－１（ＩＣＡＭ－１）表达在慢性乙型肝炎（ＣＨＢ）发病机制中的作用。方法：用原位杂交和免疫组织化学技术检测１１例正常人和５０例慢性ＨＢＶ感染者肝内ＩＣＡＭ－１ｍＲＮＡ和蛋白表达情况。结果：正常人和慢性无症状ＨＢｓＡｇ携带者肝细胞无ＩＣＡＭ－１ｍＲＮＡ和ＩＣＡＭ－１表达，ＣＨＢ患者肝细胞１－ＣＡＭ－１ｍＲＮＡ和ＩＣＡＭ－１表达增强，阳民生肝细胞多分布在汇管区周围和腺泡内炎

Expression of ICAM-1 protein and mRNA in the liver of patients with chronic hepatitis B

Objective: To study the role of hepatic expression of ICAM 1 in the pathogenesis of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) Methods:The expression of ICAM 1 protein and mRNA in the liver of 11 healthy persons and 50 patients with HBV infection were observed with in situ hybridization and immunohistochemical assay Results: In healthy persons and chronic asymptomatic HBsAg carriers, no expression of ICAM 1 in the hepatocytes was found And in the patients with CHB, ICAM 1 protein and mRNA were strongly expressed in hepatocytes The hepatocytes with positive expression were mostly located in the periportal and intra acinar areas of inflammation and necrosis Positive expression of ICAM 1 protein and mRNA was significantly stronger in cases with severe CHB than in those with moderate and mild CHB (P< 0 05) The level of ICAM 1 expression in hepatocytes was positively correlated with the severity of inflammation in the liver (P< 0 01) Liver functions was more severely impaired in the patients with strong expression of ICAM 1 than in those with weak expression (P< 0 05) Conclusion: In patients with CHB, the expression of ICAM 1 in the liver plays an important role in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular necrosis and the severity of ICAM 1 expression can reflect the degree of liver damage and the condition of liver funotions
