The levels of total cholesterol (by the enzymic reagent),triglycerides HDL and HDL-subclasses (by PT-Mg2+ precipitate),apolipoprotein Al and B (by immunoassay) in the serum were measured in 100 CAD (coronary artery disease) patients,verified by coronary arteriography,and 141 non-CAD controls.The study is to evaluate the diagnostic values of lipids and apolipoproteins by the compared analysis and multivariate discrimination analysis.It is found that the determination of HDL2,apoAl,and apoB increased the value of lipids analysis in the estimation of the degree of CAD and the clinical prognosis.The discrimination coincidences of the functions,which were derived from the levels of these lipids,with coronary arteriographic result were 80%.It is suggested that lipids indices may be use in micro-computer assisted quantitative differential diagnosis of CAD. |
