Abstract: | EDITORIAL COMMENT We accepted this paper to remind readers to warn their patients about the problems of malaria prophylaxis, especially during pregnancy. The final sentence is repeated as a summary Women who are pregnant or planning pregnancy are advised to avoid travel to high-risk areas, since prophylaxis is inadequate.
