温州地区养老院老年抑郁状况调查及相关因素研究

目的调查温州地区养老院老年抑郁状况并分析其影响因素。方法采用随机整群抽样法抽取温州鹿城区、瓯海区、龙湾区11个养老院750例60岁以上的老人作为本次调查对象。随后采用自行编制的一般资料调查表、老年人抑郁量表(GDS-30)对本研究对象进行问卷调查。采用单因素、多因素logistics回归分析影响养老院老年抑郁状况相关因素。结果本研究750例调查对象中,500例老年人无抑郁症状,250例老年人存在不同程度的抑郁症状,抑郁发生率为33.33%,其中轻度抑郁180例(24.00%),中重度抑郁70例(9.33%)。经多因素logistic回归分析结果显示:婚姻状况(OR=6.398,95%CI:3.471~11.793)、年龄(OR=3.080,95%CI:2.459~3.860)、慢性病种数(OR=5.726,95%CI:3.691~8.882)、有无固定经济来源(OR=5.392,95%CI:3.880~7.495)与养老院老年人发生抑郁相关(P<0.05)。结论温州地区养老院老年人存在不同程度的抑郁症状,并且受婚姻状况、年龄、慢性病种数、有无固定经济来源等因素的影响。

Status of elderly depression and its related factors in nursing homes in Wenzhou region

Objective To investigate the status of elderly depression in nursing homes in Wenzhou region, and to analyze its influencing factors. Methods Using a random cluster sampling method, 750 elderly persons aged above 60 years were selected from 11 nursing homes in Lucheng District, Ouhai District and Longwan District of Wenzhou. Then a self-developed general information questionnaire and the Geriatric Depression Scale(GDS-30)were used to investigate the subjects. Univariate andmultivariate logistic regression analyses were employed to identify related factors affecting the status of elderly depression in the nursing homes. Results Among the 750 subjects surveyed in this study, 500 senior citizens had no depressive symptoms, and 250 ones suffered from different degrees of depression. The incidence rate of depression was 33.33%, including 180 cases of milddepression (24.00%) and 70 cases of moderate and severe depression (9.33%). The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that marital status (OR=6.398, 95%CI:3.471-11.793), age (OR=3.080, 95%CI:2.459-3.860), number of chronic diseases (OR=5.726, 95%CI:3.691-8.882), and having or having no a fixed income source (OR=5.392, 95%CI:3.880-7.495) were correlated with the incidence of depression among the elderly in the nursing homes (P<0.05). Conclusion There are different degrees of depressive symptoms among the elderly in the nursing homes in Wenzhou region, and their depression status are affected by marriage status, age, number of chronic diseases and having or having no a fixed income source.
