| Abstract: | Selenium is one of the essential micro-elements in vivo and the constituent of Glutathione Peroxidase. The harmful free radicals can be eliminated. Organic selenium compounds from plants could prevent or remedy diseases in which selenium is deficient. The chemical researches and pharmacological action of organic selenium compounds were concisely introduced. |
