摘    要:目的探讨多曲方丝弓(Multiloop Edgewise Archwire,MEAW)技术在错[牙合]畸形矫治后期建立稳定[牙合]关系的临床应用效果。方法方丝弓矫治技术进入第三期,弯制多曲方丝弓,根据存在的错[牙合]畸形情况进行多种类型颌间牵引。结果采用MEAW技术,经过3~4个月颌间牵引,解决了错[牙合]畸形矫治第三期出现的问题,全部病例均建立了稳定的咬合关系。结论利用MEAW弓代替矫治后期理想弓的弯制,并通过不同类型的颌间牵引,能获得完美的矫治效果。

Abstract:Objective To investigate the occlusal stabilization effect of Multiloop Edgewise Archwire (MEAW) technique at the later orthodontic period. Methods MEAW technique and different elastics were applied in 50 patients who were in the third stage of standard edgewise treatment but had slight malocclusion. Results Expectant effect was obtained in all cases with satisfactory and steady occlusion after 3 to 4 months' intermaxillary traction. Conclusion MEAW technique accompanied with elastic intermaxillary traction can be used to correct the occlusion defect in the later stage of orthodontic treatment.
