| Abstract: | Cryptoympana atrata Fabricius(CAF)ig 5g/kg in mice decreases weights of the spleen and thymus, markedly decreases the clearance rate of iv charcoal particles and significantly inhibits the phagocytosis of peritoneal macrophages of mice. CAF ig at the above doses markedly suppresses IgE antibody mediated reactions, heterologous passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) in mice, degranulation of mast cells of calvarial periosteum in rats, and the delayed hypersensitivity reaction of ear induced by DNCB in mice. |
