长沙市农村老年人自杀死亡漏报调查

目的 掌握农村老年人自杀死亡漏报的一手资料，为提高农村老年人自杀研究的可靠性提供依据。方法 采取分层整群抽样，随机抽取长沙东部的浏阳市和西部的望城县为研究现场，将二县(市)所有乡(镇)按人均年收入分为经济状况好、中、差三个层次，从每层中随机抽取1～2个乡(镇)共8个乡(镇)作为研究点，以其全部145个行政村1996～2000年自杀死亡的60岁及以上老年人为对象，调查和分析自杀死亡老年人的漏报情况。结果农村老年人群是自杀死亡漏报率为32．84％。结论 农村老年人自杀死亡存在较为严重的漏报现象．

Study on Under-reportage of Completed Suicide among Elderly in Rural Communities

Objective The main purposes of this study are to collect the first-handed data on under-reportage of committed suicide among elderly in rural communities, to provide database for improving the reliability of suicide research among the elderly in rural area.Methods Eight townships were randomly sampled from Liuyang city and county Wangcheng by stratified sampling based on economical status.All sixty-year-old or over elderlies, who committed suicide from the year 1996 to 2000, from 145 villages of the eight townships, were inquired into by self-designed questionnaire. During the study period, We applied a methodology of combining clue investigation with home visiting to study under-reportage status quo among elderly elders.Results The under-reported rate of suicide committed by rural elderly was 32.84%.Conclusion Rural elderly committed suicides were badly underreported.
