Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of Rosa robot-assisted stereotactic intracranial biopsy. Methods The clinical data of 33 patients with intracranial lesion who underwent Rosa robot-assisted stereotactic intracranial biopsy from October 2018 from August 2020. Results There was no navigation failure during the operation, and all procedures were completed successfully. Seven-six biopses were performed on these 33 patients, with no intracranial hemorrhage and epileptic seizures after the operation. The positive rate was 100%, including 21 patients with glioma, 5 with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, 2 with vascular malformation, 1 with metastatic adenoma, 2 with germ cell tumor, 1 with anaplastic meningioma, and 1 with inflammatory demyelination. Of 21 patients with glioma, IDH-1 mutation was detected in 6 patients (28.6%), and MGMT promoter methylation was detected in 16 patients (76.2%). The loss of 1p/19q heterozygosity was found in 1 patient with anaplastic oligodendroglioma. Conclusions Rosa robot-assisted stereotactic frameless biopsy is a relatively safe and feasible operation, which can be used for histological and molecular diagnosis of intracranial lesions.
