| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the patients with postmenopausal vaginal bleeding in Enshi autonomous prefecture and probe into its preventive measures. Methods Discuss in groups according to clinic-pathological examination results of 155 cases with postmenopausal bleeding.Results Among the 155 cases, malignant tumor were 51.6%(and 91.3 per cent of them was cervical carcinoma),benign causes and functional disease were 43.1% and 7.1% respectively. Postmenopausal bleeding women with advanced age ha a statistically significant correlation with more serious pathology. In 108 cases of the farmer group, the incidence of malignant tumor were 66.7%, which was greater than that of the non-farmer group (17.0%, P<0.01).Conclusion These findings show that main causes of postmenopausal bleeding in Enshi autonomous prefecture women are malignant tumor, of which the cervical carcinoma is the most common. |
