下颌第三磨牙根管治疗的临床疗效观察

目的 观察下颌第三磨牙根管治疗的临床疗效。方法 对22例下颌第三磨牙采用改良双敞技术预备、侧方加压方法充填根管，一年后复查观察其临床疗效。结果 22例根管治疗的下颌第三磨牙，一年复查成功19例，成功率为86．36％。结论 尽管下颌第三磨牙根管形态复杂，操作难度大，掌握了不同类型患牙的特点，根管治疗仍可获得较高的成功率。

Clinical observation of the endodontically treated mandibular third molars

Objective To observe the mandibular third molars following a root-canal therapy one year after the treatment. Methods A total of 22 mandibular third molars were instrumented with modified double-flared technique and obturated with cold lateral compaction of gutta-percha. Clinical symptoms and radiographic findings were evaluated 1 year after the treatment. Radiographs taken immediately postobturation were compared to recalled radiographs. Results Of the 22 endodonticlly treated mandibular third molars,19 ( 86.36% ) of them were successful at the 1-year follow-up evaluation. Conclusion Although the morphology of mandibular third molar is complicated, a root canal therapy can still be an effective treatment method as long as we understand the features of the mandibular third molars.
