Abstract: | When the radiology department of a large midwestern medical center experienced scheduling problems in MRI, it looked for a way to avoid on-site cancellations and delays. Their solution was to assess patients and anticipate problems before patients arrived for their appointments. Ms. Benson describes the problem and the successful process of pre-exam screening now in place. |
