| Abstract: | This literature reviews the prevention, treatment, and nursing of the constipation of the elderly people, including adjustment of lifestyle, psychotherapy, application of enemas and suppositories, oral medications, warm water foot washing and traditional Chinese medical treatment. Prevention, reasonable treatment and nursing can reduce the severe consequences caused by constipation. |
