Analysis of surgical effect of neovascular glaucoma

Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of surgical effect of neovascular glaucoma.Methods A total of 60 patients(60 eyes) with neovascular glaucoma were taken as the research subjects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases(30 eyes) in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with compound trabeculectomy,and patients in the observation group were treated with drainage valve implantation.The intraocular pressure,visual acuity,complications,and clinical treatment effects were compared between the two groups.Results 1 and 3 months after treatment,the intraocular pressure and visual acuity of the two groups were better than those of this group before treatment,and the intraocular pressure and visual acuity of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group.All the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative complication rate 3.33%(1/30) of the observation group was was significantly lower than 20.00%(6/30) of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ²=4.043,P=0.044<0.05).The total effective rate of clinical treatment of the observation group was 90.00%(27/30),which was significantly higher than 66.67%(20/30)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ²=4.812,P=0.028<0.05).Conclusion Drainage valve implantation has good effect in the treatment of neovascular glaucoma,which is conducive to the improvement of patients’ symptoms and postoperative recovery,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
