Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application effect of molecular pathology testing in the differential diagnosis of granuloseacel tumors.Methods In 50 patients with ovarian granulosa cell tumors,molecular pathology was performed to observe FOXL2,AKT1,and DICER1 mutations,and to assess the prognosis of adult granulosa cell tumors(AGCT).Results The mutations of FOXL2,AKT1,and DICER1 in 50 patients were as follows:2 cases of follicular membrane fibroma,4 cases of bilateral ovarian blastoma,and 5 cases of other ovarian sex cord stromal tumors.The FOXL2 mutation of the patient’s ovarian fibroma was significantly increased.At the same time,it was found during the analysis of the patient’s AKT1 mutation that there was no significant change in the mutation.In the analysis of the DICER1 mutation situation,it was concluded that the patient had obvious symptoms of well-differentiated DICER1 mutation,the resulting data were significantly different,and the mutation type was mainly diffuse,microfollicular type and island type,with visible nuclear grooves.Studies confirmed that the prognosis of patients after 6-36 months of follow-up was as follows:6 patients developed symptoms during the prognostic process,the interval between onsets was 13 months,and 12 patients had obvious mutations,and were tested by Intemational Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics(FIGO) diagnosed as stage Ⅲc,and the prognosis of patients after surgery and chemotherapy was relatively good.The prognosis of 12 patients showed recurrence after 24 months,and their pathology classified as stage Ⅰa.At the end of follow-up,all 50 patients were alive.Conclusion In the differential diagnosis of granulosa cell tumors,molecular pathology testing is of high value for patients,and can meet the testing needs of patients,so it can be extended to the clinic.
