| Abstract: | Immune functions were examined in 30 cases with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and 30 normal controls. The results as follows :(1) The T cell subsets detection showed that the CDi positive cells of IBS were significantly lower than those of normal controls (P<0. 05) and the CD4/CD8 ratio increased significantly in IBS group(P<0. 05) ; (2) The natural killer activity detection demostrated that the NK activity of IBS was significantly lower than that of normal controls (P<0. 01) . (3) The interleukin-2 receptor of IBS patients had a decreased expression compared with the normal controls (P<0. 05) and (4) serum IgG content of IBS patients increased significantly (P<0. 01). These results suggested that the immune functions of IBS patients decreased. |
