| Abstract: | The objective of this randomized pilot trial with 21 patients was to evaluate the effectiveness of a rhenium-188 liquid-filled balloon system to prevent recurrent restenosis after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty for in-stent restenosis. A significant benefit from brachytherapy was seen at 6-month repeat angiography, as well as during the clinical follow-up of 12 months. |
