摘    要:目的研究血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)在垂体瘤中的表达,探讨VEGF与垂体瘤血管形成的关系.方法采用免疫组织化学技术检测42例垂体瘤组织VEGF蛋白表达和微血管计数.结果 VEGF蛋白表达阳性者37例,阴性者5例;微血管密度(MVD)在阳性组为47.93±15.82,阴性组为18.12±4.39,两组差异有非常显著性(P<0.001);VEGF表达与MVD之间存在相关性(r=0.79,P<0.001).结论 VEGF存在于垂体瘤组织中,VEGF表达与垂体瘤血管形成密切相关,提示VEGF在垂体瘤中可能作为一种旁分泌因子,刺激肿瘤血管内皮细胞增殖,促进肿瘤血管形成.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the vascular e nd othelial growth factor (VEGF) protein expression and its relationship to the int ratumoral angiogenesis in human pituitary adenomas.Methods VEGF protein expression and angiogenesis were ana lyzed in 42 human pituitary adenomas using immunohistochemistry.A polyclonal ant i-VEGF antibody was used for VEGF expression,an antibody directed against huma n Von Willebrand factor to identify blood vessels.Results The positive immunostaining for VEGF protein was observed in 37 cases.Microvessel density (MVD) in the group of positive expressi on of VEGF protein was higher than that in the group of negative expression of V EGF protein in the tissues of pituitary adenomas (P<0.001).The expression of VEGF was closely correlated to MVD (r=(0.79,)P<0.001).Conclusion The close correlation of VEGF expression wit h MVD suggests that VEGF acts as an stimulator for angiogenesis in the pituitary a denomas.
