Occurrence,influencing factors,and treatment status of respiratory diseases in premature infants

Objective To analyze the incidence rate,influencing factors,and treatment status of respiratory diseases in premature infants.Methods From November 2017 to November 2019,100 premature infants treated in Department of Neonatology,Yongkang Municipal Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital were selected,the relevant data were collected,the incidence rates of respiratory diseases were calculated,the influencing factors and treatment status were analyzed.Results Among 100 premature infants,72 premature infants were diagnosed as respiratory diseases,the incidence rate was 72.00%.Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that prenatal fever,hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy,28 weeks≤gestational age of premature infants<34 weeks,and birth weight of premature infants<1500 g were risk factors of respiratory diseases in premature infants(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in oxygen therapy time and hospitalization time among the premature infants in different gestational age groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence rate of respiratory diseases in preterm infants is high,prevention and control measures of respiratory diseases in premature infants during neonatal period should be taken based on clinical indicators and the diseases.
