The Current Status of Online Food and Drug Purchasing Agencies and Supervision Countermeasures

Objective To investigate problems existing in the online food and drug purchasing agencies and their corresponding supervision countermeasures. Methods The crucial problems in the way of the development of the industry were found by analyzing the concepts, characteristics and development status of online food and drug purchasing agencies in our country. Results and Conclusion Online food and drug purchasing agencies possess great prospects of development, but there are various nonstandard activities, which are in urgent need of the attention from all quarters of the society. This paper suggested the commencement from two aspects, namely the perfection of relevant policies and legislations as well as legal punishment, in an effort to regulate the development of the industry and to create a safe environment for purchasing via agencies.
