老年高血压患者颈动脉硬化与左心室肥厚的关系

目的 探讨颈动脉硬化程度与左心室肥厚（ＬＶＨ）之间的关系。方法 采用多普勒超声技术观察１０８例高血压患者颈动脉病变及其血流动力学变化，同时测量左心室舒张末期内径、室间隔厚度、左心室后壁厚度、并计算左心室心肌重量指数。结果 ＬＶＨ患者颈动脉斑块形成的发生率为７５．８％，明显高于对照组，并影响颈动脉的血流动力学，而颈动脉有斑块形成的患者左心室心肌重量指数，收缩压、舒张压均明显高于无斑块形成组。结论 颈

Association of Carotid Atherosclerosis and Left Ventricular Hypertrophy in Old Hypertensive Subjects

Objective To study the association of carotid atherosclerosis and left ventricular hypertrophy in old hypertensive subjects. Methods One hundred and eight subjects were studied with echocardiography to determine left ventricular end diastolic diameter,interventricular septum thickness,left ventricular posterior wall thickness,and the diameter and blood flow rate of carotid artery Then to calculate the left ventricular mass index Results Carotid atherosclerosis was present in 75 8% of left ventricular hypertrophy subjects,and was associated with higher blood pressure and left ventricular mass index Subjects with left ventricular hypertrophy demonstrated an abnormal state in carotid hemodynamics Conclusion Left ventricular hypertrophy is associated with carotid atherosclerosis which hypertension may have a certain effect on
