| Abstract: | Summary A novel method employing in situ microwave fixation for cells cultured in monolayer is described. This method, which avoids the cell loss associated with chemical fixation, is useful for cells intended for immunofluorescence studies, for prefixation of cells for electron microscopy, and for other situations requiring cell fixation. |
