胰腺癌CT诊断对照的分析

Comparative analysis of computed tomographic diagnosis of pancreatic cancer

AIM To compare and to analyze the results of examination of patients with pancreatic cancer by general CT (CT) and spiral CT (SCT), and to discuss the problems related to the diagnosis and respectability of pancreatic cancer in order to achieve early recognition and diagnosis. METHODS State of involvement of the liver, peritoneal cavity, lymph nodes and adjacent vascular structures were observed in 38 patients with pancreatic cancers, among whom 23 were examined by CT and 15 by SCT. The results of both CT and SCT groups were compared and the status of the tumor at surgical resection were compared with CT images before operation. RESULTS Positive rate of detection of signs of tumor invasion by SCT was higher than those by CT ( P < 0.01 ). The accurate rate of detecting preoperatively resectable tumor by SCT was remarkably higher than by CT. CONCLUSION Spiral CT may have a higher resolution rate than general CT. SCT could not only demonstrate distinct morphological peculiarities of pancreatic cancer and the surrounding structures better than CT but also reflect the signs of invasion and metastasis, thereby predicting more accurately the resectability of the tumor.
