疼痛外科治疗的手术操作编码探讨

目的对疼痛外科治疗所施行的手术操作进行编码。方法根据手术操作编码的主要考虑成分:(范围)部位 术式 入路 疾病性质,以ICD-9-CM-3(2005年版)为分类原则,对所做的手术操作进行编码。结果依据查找编码三步骤(确定主导词、查找编码、核对编码)进行查找,发现有的编码不能直接找到、有的需技术甄别、有的需建议扩展码。结论疼痛外科治疗所涉及的手术操作较专业,编码人员需不断提高自己的医学知识、分类技巧才能正确编码。

A Discussion on the Coding of Treating Pains with Surgical Operations

Objective To analyze how to code the surgical treatments of pain.Methods Based on the main components of coding for operations and procedures(position,operation type,approach and nature of disease)and the principles of classification rules of ICD-9-CM-3(2005 year edition),we coded the surgical treatments of pain.Results Based on the three steps of encoding(e.g.determining the leading term,searching codes and checking the codes),we checked the coding for operations and medical procedures.Then we found some codes that couldn't be found directly.We found that some of them need technical discrimination,and some of them need extended-codes.Conclusions Because the operations of treating pain are special,the coders should enlarge their medical knowledge and skills to code them correctly.
