期刊借力“一网两微”推进科研诚信建设初探

【目的】 分析医药卫生期刊通过官方网站、微信与微博(以下简称“一网两微”)协助科研诚信建设的现状,探讨该类期刊借力“一网两微”推进科研诚信建设的优化策略。 【方法】 对255种医药卫生中文核心期刊运用“一网两微”维护科研诚信的方式方法进行总结与分析。 【结果】 开通官方网站的253种期刊中200种(79.1%)有科研诚信相关内容,显示的主要形式包括“投稿须知/投稿指南/稿约”和首页的二级条目,但前者表述详简程度不一,后者显示效果欠佳。开通了微信公众号的181种期刊中46种(25.4%)有相关内容,以文章推送形式为主,发布频率低。开通微博认证号的26种期刊中仅3种(11.5%)有相关内容。 【结论】 医药卫生期刊未能充分运用“一网两微”推进科研诚信建设。该类期刊应尽快完善自身科研诚信管理制度,制定切实可行的科研诚信规范及违规处理办法,并在官方网站的稿约类文件中规范描述其重点,同时也应借鉴国际顶级期刊经验,在官方网站设置显示效果佳的相关栏目,并可结合自身对微信与微博的定位充分发挥两者的传播优势。

Preliminary study on promoting scientific integrity via official website,WeChat, and Weibo of medical and health journals

[Purposes] This paper aims to analyze the status quo of maintaining scientific integrity via official website, WeChat, and Weibo (hereinafter referred to as OWW) of medical and health journals (MHJs) and explore the optimizing strategies for them to enhance scientific integrity through these platforms. [Methods] The methods of strengthening scientific integrity on OWW of 255 core MHJs were summarized and analyzed. [Findings] A total of 253 MHJs have launched official websites, and the content on scientific integrity is found either in the “instructions for authors” or secondary entries of the home pages of 200 (79.1%) of them. However, the specificity on the content in “instructions for authors” varied and the content in secondary entries was inconspicuous. A total of 181 journals had WeChat official accounts and 46 (25.4%) push articles on scientific integrity with low frequency. Among the 26 journals with Weibo official accounts, only 3 (11.5%) are found to have relevant content. [Conclusions] MHJs fail to make full use of OWW to enhance scientific integrity. Thus, they should improve the management system for scientific integrity, formulate practical specifications and handling methods of academic misconducts, detail the specifications in "instructions for authors" on official websites, learn from top international journals to design prominent columns for it on official websites, and take advantages of WeChat and Weibo based on their own characteristics.
