Abstract: | Gastrointestinal disorders are amongst the most commonly reported adverse reactions to drugs. The drugs most frequently implicated in damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa are antibiotics, aspirin, non-aspirin non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NANSAIDs), corticosteroids and potassium salts. The evidence is most conveniently summarized by the site of the damage. |
