Abstract: | The significance of endogenic factors in the localization of the fractures of the proximal femur was studied in 373 patients, with 402 fractures. A statistically significant relation was found between muscular disturbances of the affected leg and trochanteric fractures, while the incidence of femoral neck fractures was high in osteoporotic but physically active individuals. |
