| Abstract: | This paper reports the early effect of adriamycin on GSH--PX activity in blood and my- ocardium of the rat. Nine mg/kg of adriamycin was injected to the rat every other day for two days, The GSH--PX activity both in whole blood and myocardium was anylyzed on days 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 afteer injection. The results showed that GSH--PX activities both in whole blood and myocardium an days 3, 4, and 5, were lower than those of control group. |
