小细胞肺癌血清NSE及循环肿瘤细胞的相关研究进展

小细胞肺癌(small cell lung cancer,SCLC)是一种高度恶性且预后较差的肿瘤,诊断时病期晚、治疗手段有限、驱动基因不明以及容易早期转移等特点使其治疗遭遇瓶颈.血清肿瘤标志物神经元特异性烯醇化酶(neuron-specific enolase,NSE)的检测有助于早期辅助诊断、观察疗效、估计预后,但特异性与敏感性有限;近年来开展的循环肿瘤细胞(circulating tumor cells,CTCs)检测取材方便,且SCLC外周血中CTCs浓度较高,可以获取SCLC诊治的各个环节的细胞学信息,可重复性强.NSE与CTCs联合检测,既可发现肿瘤早期的生化异常,也可获得细胞证据以及细胞可能携带的基因信息.

Research progress of serum NSE and circulating tumor cells in small cell lung cancer

The small cell lung cancer is a highly malignant tumor with poor prognosis,and the treatment encountered bottlenecks because the tumor is characterized by having been in the middle-late stage at diagnosis,limited treatment,unknown drive gene and early dissemination.The potential uses of serum tumor marker NSE includes aiding early diagnosis,monitoring therapy and determining prognosis in patients,but specificity and sensitivity are limited.Recent years,the detection of circulating tumor cells is convenient,and SCLC has been reported to exhibit high numbers of circulating tumor cells in blood.The CTCs with good reproducibility may provide cytological information at all levels of SCLC diagnosis and treatment.Application of combined detection of NSE and CTCs can find not only the biochemical abnormalities of the tumor in the early stage,but also the tumor cell evidence and the gene information carried by the cells.This article reviews the progress in the study of serum tumor marker NSE and circulating tumor cells in SCLC.
