| Abstract: | The intramuscular administration of the (R)-nipecotic acid ethyl ester and 4,5,6,7 tetrahydroisoxazolo[4,5-c]pyridin-3-oL (THPO) brought about an increase in the GABA content of synaptosomal-enriched fractions prepared from the brains of treated mice, the ester being much the more efficacious in this respect. The effect was dose related and was maximal 30–60 minutes after administration of the drug. |
