| Abstract: | The first steps in laparoscopic hemioplastic surgery were performed by gynaecologists in the 1980′s 1, 2]. However the essentials of transabdominal technique with preperitoneal placement of polypropylene mesh (TAPP) and totally extraperitoneal (TEP) repair were first described in the beginning of the 1990′s by Arregui3] and Mc Keman respectively4]. |
