The application of laparoscopic technique in diagnosis and treatment of abdominal injury:with a report of 102 cases

Objective:To explore the clinical practice method and effect of laparoscopic technique in abdominal injury.Methods:The clinical data of 102 patints with abdominal injury underwent laparoscopic exploration were retrospectively analysed.Results:All the wounded were diagnosed correctly,no missed and error diagnosis.The rate of conversion to open surgery was 17.65%(18/102),who were all closed abdominal injury(22.50%,18/80).The laparoscopic exploration of 29 cases(28.43%) was not therapeutic but diagnostic.3 of 18 cases who were converted to open surgery suffered infection of incision,no other complications.All the wounded were cured without dead cases.The average hospital stay was 7.4d(4-15d).Conclusions:The clinical application of laparoscopic technique in abdominal injury is safe,effective and minimally invasive.There are obvious superiorities compared to the open surgery.It is worth applying commonly.
