Galectin-3和Smad4与结肠癌浸润及转移的关系

摘    要:目的探讨Galectin-3和Smad4在结肠癌及相应的癌旁组织中的表达差异及其与结肠癌生物学行为的关系。方法应用免疫组化S-P法检测Galectin-3和Smad4在61例结肠癌组织及对应癌旁组织中的表达情况。结果61例结肠癌中Galectin-3阳性表达50例,阳性率为82%,对应癌旁组织中Galectin-3表达阳性率为26.2%,差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05)。结肠癌中Smad4阳性率为24.6%,对应癌旁组织中阳性率为80.3%,差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05)。Galectin-3的阳性表达及Smad4表达缺失与大肠癌分化程度、浸润和转移有关(P〈0.01或〈0.05)。结论Galectin-3在结肠癌组织中表达率高,与结肠癌细胞的淋巴结转移、浸润有关,Smad4表达缺失与大肠癌分化程度和转移有关。二者是预测结肠癌转移的较有价值的指标。

Abstract:Objective To study the expression of Galectin-3 and Smad4 in colon cancerous tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues and the relationship between Galeetin-3 and Smad4 expression and biological behavior in colon carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemistry method of S-P was used to examine Galectin-3 and Smad4 expression in 61 primary colon cancerous tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues. Results Positive Galectin-3 expression was observed in 82% of the colon cancer cases but in 26.2% of the adjacent tissues. Positive Smad4 expression was observed in 24.6% the colon cancer cases but in 80.3% of the adjacent tissues. Overexpression of Galectin-3 and expression absence of Smad4 correlated with adifferentiation invasiveness and metastsis in colon carcinoma. Conclusion A significantly stronger expression of Galectin-3 in cancerous tissues is observed. A significant correlation is observed between upregulation of Galectin-3 and downregulation of Smad4 and differentiation, depth of tumor invasion stage and metastases. The both might be a useful tumor marker for colon carcinomas with respects to tumor metastasis, proliferation.
