Clinical Observation of Auricular-plaster Therapy Combined with Body Acupcncture in Treatment of Simple Obsesity

Objectives:To observe the curative effect and characteristics of auricular-plaster combined with Body Acupcncture therapy in the treatment of obesity.Methods:40 cases of simple obesity patients with excessive heat in stomach and intestine were randomly divided into observation and control groups,20 cases in each group.Patients in observation group received both auricular-plaster therapy and body acupuncture while in control group received just body acupuncture.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate in observation group is 95% while in control group is 75%.Both of them have significant effects.There are no significant differences in weight,chest circumference and fat ratio between the two groups after treatment,but compared with control group,in observation group the waist circumference,hip circumference,thigh circumference decreased significantly.Conclusion:Combination of auricular-plaster therapy could enhance the effect of body shaping especially in the changes of waist circumference,hip circumference and thigh circumference.
