| Abstract: | In a small proportion of patients requiring enteral nutrition it may not be possible to site nasogastric or nasoenteric feeding tubes using standard intubation techniques. We describe an endoscopic method of tube placement applicable not only for positioning nasogastric feeding tubes in patients with coexisting oesophageal pathology, but also for placement of nasoenteric feeding tubes when disordered gastric emptying is present. |
