| Abstract: | A 20-year-old active duty male presented with palpitations, tachycardia, and a nontender, diffusely enlarged thyroid. The differential diagnosis and appropriate management of this patient's symptoms and physical examination findings are reviewed. Various diagnostic modalities are highlighted and effective treatment strategies as well as their risks and benefits are discussed. |
